Akrapovic has once again developed the premier aftermarket exhaust for the Porsche Turbo line. They begin with their very lightweight center muffler made from a proprietary titanium alloy. Replacing the stock center muffler alone reduces the weight at the back of the car by 4 kg. The center muffler kit includes carbon fiber bumper inserts and distinctive titanium tips that are handcrafted and aerospace quality.

Akropovic set out to improve the exhaust tone of the Porsche 997 TT as well as reduce weight and increase performance with this simple slip-on system. The weight savings, appearance, and the amazing sound delivered by the Akrapovic system are reason enough to own the system. However, in order to increase the power beyond the limit of 500 HP, ECU reprogramming will be required. The Akrapovic exhaust system is a perfect basis for increased power when used in conjunction with an ECU reflash as well as other power-enhancing modifications.

Available Option:This option is to replace the stock link pipes with the Akrapovic variant made from titanium and incorporating either 100 cpsi or 200 cpsi high-flow catalysts.
