The Hofele ETS is an electronic lowering system that automatically raises or lowers the vehicle depending on certain road speeds. When stopped or traveling at speeds up to 45 MPH , the system remains on the minimum height settings to give your Touareg a sporty, agressive appearance. However, at speeds higher than 45 MPH, the vehicle is raised up for better ride quality and ground clearance.
This particular system includes a shut-off switch to eliminate the automatic lowering when higher ground clearance is needed, such as in off-road situations.Fits the following models:
