The solution to optimal performance for the BMW comes in the form of a supplementary ECU that installs next to the original Siemens MSD80/MSD81 DME. The Black Box has all the advantages of the EMS, yet is installable in a few minutes. Furthermore, the unit can be bypassed by plugging in the provided "Service Plugs" or can be removed in minutes to restore your BMW to its original state.
The optional Power button, allows you to switch between 2 sets of maps at the touch of a cockpit-mounted button, similar to what comes standard in the current M5.
