Our Sport Intercooler delivers exciting performance gains (up to =15 RWHP) nd is a must for all cars that are running additional boost. On 91 Octane pump fuel, the Sport Intercooler allows you to run almost 3 psi more manifold pressure than what you can reach by running the stock BMW intercooler.
Our unit features a deeper core that results in a 54% improvement in isochoric cooling over the stock unit: this substantial decrease in air intake temperature provides a denser intake charge to the engine and allows more air and fuel to be combusted per engine cycle, increasing the output of N54 motor. Built entirely out of aerospace grade aluminum, the Sport Intercooler features machined slip-joints that allow you to use the original plumbing from the car with not cutting or replacing of hoses. This makes the installation 100% reversible at any time.
