Upon examining the 4 OEM catalytic converters on the front section, Supersprint saw room for improvement by increasing the cats efficiency by replacing the 4 OEM ceramic cats with 4 HJS, German made, racing metallic catalytic converters with 100 CPSI instead of the restrictive 400 cell OEM cats. The HJS metallic racing catalytic converters still offer optimal emissions control as well as retaining all OEM 02 sensor bungs and mounting points.

Supersprint was able to reduce weight by 2.6 kg, 12.3kg versus the OEM 14.9 kg. For those that seek ultimate performance and sound, Supersprint offers catless Y pipes which reduce the weight by 6.9 kg, weighting in at 8kg. These are for race usage only and will require a ECU tune to remove the Check Engine Light (CEL).
