The valve-fitted version of the Supersprint rear exhaust was designed to maintain the dual loud/quiet functionality. The valves are connected to the OEM pneumatic control pipes, the factory electronic management system is retained.

Supersprint's exhaust design and configuration vastly differs than the OEM counterpart, the Supersprint system in opened mode is a straight through direct design, with just an x-pipe that connects the two main lines for a better power. They tested multiple variations of straight, X and H pipes, They ended up choosing the X pipe for smoother power delivery and sound characteristics. The closed mode is made of a direct flow muffler with a individually researched and developed x-pipe.

In addition to their specific X pipe design, they removed 2 cats from their design to eliminate excessive weight and increase performance while still retaining full compatiblity with the OEM computer witout any Check Engine Lights (CEL). Supersprint valved rear section weights in at 20kg, 8 kg less than the 28kg stock exhaust. Supersprint retained the 4 single tips design due to the valve system layout. Their shape is round, with a slightly flattened top and bottom. They remain inside the OEM outlet, integrated in the bumper, but the trained eye can easily see there's a special component behind it.
